*I originally wrote that the item was limited to three, but after checking the threads, another item could be made, so I have changed it to “limited to four”.

A white snake climbs out of the darkness and glows golden in the morning sun.

2025 is the Year of the Snake.
In Japan, Snakes have long been worshipped as fertility and weather gods. The white snake is particularly considered a symbol of good luck. It is believed to bring good fortune, money, growth, longevity, prosperity of offspring, and peace to the family.

First, I braided the snake with a gradient silk thread from white to gold and then trapped it in black.
A little gold thread is mixed with the black thread to reflect light.

For the snake, I used four bobbins of 8 silk threads.
Then, I braided the strap again using 32 bobbins, each with 18 silk threads.
Therefore, I braided three times to make one strap.

I braided it with a prayer for good fortune to come your way.

My strap is made using the technique of traditional Japanese craft, "Kumihimo".
I'm braiding everything by myself.

To attach the anchor links of peak design

I can put them through the larger hole.
I could not get it through the top hole as the package photo.
The strap is sewn on the anchor links and cannot be removed.

This is available as an option if desired.
If you wish to order, I will send another invoice for the price of the peak design after order.

This time in Japan, the anchor links is JPY 8000.
The price seems to be a little back and forth depending on when I buy it.

I usually ship by EMS/ The Japan Post Office. The shipping fee is JPY 3,000 from Tokyo.

I can ship by FedEx, but the shipping cost is very expensive.

About finishing

The basic finish is two brass rings only.
If you want to add "leather pads" or "camera fixing screw" to the connect ring parts section, please order "add your finishing".

About ring parts

I use the connect ring from Japanese "Cura" brand.
